Last week I went to Dr. Lagstein for my monthly check up. I got a new wire (my sixth, I believe) and it's a pretty thick one, so the pressure was on for a couple of days. There is no power train this time, but there was a little sanding between the teeth. The gap it created was gone within three days, just showing you how quickly these teeth move when motivated by physics.
During the next visit, the Dr thinks he'll even out the bottom teeth to the same height. That's about 8 seconds on his mini-belt sander. An unpleasant thought, but it's really not bad.
In other news, my teeth have moved so much (hooray) that at night, my bottom jaw can get behind the stoppers on my top teeth, so I snore again (boo).
My cheap British teeth are on their way to becoming expensive American ones. Sorry, genetic heritage.
